Evening all

I have just bought a reasonably powerful laptop and i have installed the current nightly build

it is a i7-8750h , geforce gtx 1070 maxq 8gb and 32 gb ddr ram

i am still only getting 30fps on games like micro machines and COD 3

Surely i have got somerthing wrong can anyone help pls?

30 fps or 30 vps ?
witch pcsx2 version ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

30fps in game play
nightly latest one 1.7.5251

it's PS2 game, so, yes. it's a 30 fps game
try it on your PS2, you'll get the same results

So are all ps2 games 30fps?

most of mine are in the loft now as i have a ps4 

i will have to get them down after xmas

You can create a .pnach file specific to the game you're playing by clicking on Tools -> Patches. Find the code specific to the game you want, and in that .pnach file type the code in this format:

"patch=1,EE,{insert first half of the code},extended,{insert second half of the code}"

For example, code listing like 20392F7C 00000001 should look like "patch=1,EE,20392F7C,extended,00000001". Without the quotes.
