I think you're talking about blank DVDs...
No need to do so.
Just pop your original Spongebo Squarepants game in your PS2 and voilà... Problem solved.

If you want to read burned dvd's you run into the next problems without a properly configured/hacked ps2

if this was the case, this would have been notified in the compatibility list long ago.
As I said above, play it on your PS2 for now.

I had a look at this game today and patched it to work. Looks like it's playable now. I played first two levels without any problems.

Copy this file in cheats folder, enable cheats and run the game. Biggrin

Could you possibly explain what the patch is doing so a fix could possibly be made codeside?
