Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge is lagging a lot
#1
Hello everyone!
I just downloaded PCSX2 last weekend and started playing Kingdom Hearts. Everything good at fullscreen, some lagging here and there but nothing too annoying.
Yesterday I tried to play Oogie's Revenge and the results weren't as good (at fullscreen that is, window mode works fine).
I tried searching this issue in the forums but i couldn't find a direct solution.

My laptop specs:

Processor: Intel i7-4720HQ 2,60GHz

GC: Nvidia GTX 950M

RAM: 8GB

I'll post some screenshot of my PCSX2 settings if that helps...

Before all else, consider upgrading PCSX2 to a development build using the link in my signature. That build looks absolutely ancient, and I can't even figure out what version that could be. Also consider updating your GPU drivers. The GTX 950m should be DX11 capable, and yet it looks like it is falling back to DX10, so you may be using a crappy generic driver rather than a proper Nvidia driver.
Problems? Check out the development builds for the latest updates.

Mobo: ASUS Prime Z370-A
CPU: Intel i7-8700K (3.7 GHz)
RAM: G.Skill TridentZ, 2x8 GB DDR4 (3000 MHz)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti FTW2 (8 GB)
OS: Windows 10 Pro (64 bit)

Oh yeah Red Pandas are cool too.

Could be an old version with an outdated logo.

Okay, I just installed the last PCSX2... Sorry I didn't check that first.
Now, performance actually improved a lot, but there's still some lagging at fullscreen...
Could it be my specs?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

Hmm yes, it seems to be working...
Well I guess I have to stay with native resolution then
Thanks Smile

@Jesalvein what about the OP using OGL since he's now using 1.5 would that give him some more juice due to the OP using a Nvidia GPU?
