But under windows 7 i don't have such thing only dx10. Why it is so?

DX11 mode is currently worthless... so it's not a loss to you at all.

I'm kind of hoping one of the authors will comment it out until it actually is up and running and useful in some way since with a flood of DX11 cards now out, everyone assumes it must be the best way to go when in all actuality it's the worst way to go.

DX11 mode in PCSX2 is just a buggy version of DX10. There is no added shader support, no added speed, no better compatibility. Just the opposite, it has been known to crash and cause bugs. So don't even worry about DX11 mode till it's actually done.

If you have both the latest pcsx2 beta or latest GSdx and updated directx the option should appear there. What do you use in windows 7 and what does it show there?

DX11 mode has been removed in the very latest GSdx svn. And rightly so, it did nothing for anyone (yet) and didn't even have a picture for the config dialogue! Tongue2

Nah, that's just a missing component somewhere. Very GSdx specific. PC games will be fine.

Well he was using a GSdx version/revision before the one that removed DX11 so it still should have appeared at least in the GSdx included in the beta or other newer ones (not the one included with pcsx2 0.9.6 tho).
