No Sound in Arch Linux
#1
Exclamation
I'm running AntergosOS (basically Arch Linux), and everything is running fine, except there's no sound.

I'm using Version 1.4.0. Here's my plug-ins:

GS = GSdx
Sound = SPU2-X

My only other option for sound is SPU2-null.

Here's my configuration for the sound (although I've tried every option):

Interpolation - 1
Yes to Disable Effects Processing
Module - SDL Audio (my only other option is PortAudio)
PortAudio API: ALSA
SDL API: ALSA
Synch Mode: TimeStretch

Latency: 300

I've tried testing this out on a Psychonauts and Kingdom Hearts ISO.

I've tried other emulators (like Dolphin) and the audio works fine. I've checked to see if the audio drivers are fully updated, and they are. Any idea what's going on here?

Oh yeah, those are all updated. I have portaudio, pulseaudio, ALSA, everything. Sound works out of other emulators with similar settings as well, so I don't understand what's going on. It's also a rolling distro, so everything is updated.

The trick is 32 bits VS 64 bits. PCSX@ is 32 bits not the others program

@recalcitrant: Try to install lib32-alsa-lib.

Antergos always seems to be missing that one lib needed for sound. I have personally dealt with this too.
