No interlacing codes
#71
@Mensa, added the games to the list

@DarthUnknown added the game to the list
Radiata Stories has native 480p option, no need for code

@arapapa the pattern(standard scegshalfoffset) was posted since the creation of this thread
arapapa would you like to take over this thread and the 60fps one(I would give you my password for the account or if a mod can give you edit rights), I don't visit the site often so someone else should update the lists

This code removes wavy underwater effect from Devil May Cry, it's a worthy trade off though.

patch=1,EE,201018C4,word,00000000
patch=1,EE,20101B2C,word,00000000
//patch=1,EE,20149490,word,03E00008
//patch=1,EE,20149494,word,00000000

use the code this way, you will have all the soft bluring, wavy underwater effects etc cause the routine for them is not disabled

Awesome, it seems just as sharp to me as before.

Thank you for that!
When I set interlacing to "None" in the emulator, UI while in World Map shakes, so I left it on "Automatic".
Characters look so crisp! Haven't tested it any further because I've already cleared the game with Stan, next is Lion's story.
That is after I clear Tales of Destiny 2 on PSP maybe.

I've read this whole thread and still don't get it at all how you make these cheat codes and which games it works on. So if anybody could be so kind as to make these cheats for:

Genji [NTSC-J]
Tales of Legendia [NTSC-J]
Tales of the Abyss [NTSC-J]
Sengoku Musou [NTSC-J]
Sengoku Musou: Moushouden [NTSC-J]
Dragon Quest V: Tenkuu no Hanayome [NTSC-J]

As I said above, I have no idea if all of them need these no interlacing hacks. Genji seems to need it because you have it here for USA version. I want first three games the most, to play them in the best possible quality. All of these I own and plan on playing eventually.
Pretty please!

Tales of Destiny - Interlacing Automatic (Without Hack) & Tales of Destiny - Interlacing None (With Hack)

I'll look into all of them, I'll take a look into Destiny2 too, can you provide a savestate on the world map?

Oh, thank you for replying!

UI while in World Map shakes in Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut [NTSC-J].
Tales of Destiny 2 I play on PSP. I'm sorry for the confusion.

I've made that Save State, for the first time used that option! Also because file is big I had to post it somewhere... Never used file hosting site neither, well I chose this site:

Genji
SCPS_150.95 CRC = 0xB4776FC1

Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut
SLPS_258.42 CRC = 0x8409FD51

Tales of Legendia
SLPS_255.33 CRC = 0x1F8640E0
doesn't shake but has a cleaner(sharper) framebuffer, the code will display it

Dragon Quest V: Tenkuu no Hanayome
no need for code

will update with rest of the games
