No sound

I had to redownload the emulator, following all the same steps to get it going because my ssd was getting full so i just plopped it over to my 2 terabyte hard drive, no im getting no sound when i start up the emulator, that familiar play station intro nor the game, if i could get some help i would greatly appreciate it

its likely SPU2-X is set to "portaudio" i also have an issue with that where i need to go in to the config button under portaudio and click "Exclusive mode" then it works. If that doesn't help, change portaudio to xaudio2 and see if that works.
