Noob alert

ugh I need help.

I am new to .iso files, emulators, and mounting and what have you so please don't hate me.

I installed PCSX2 on my Ubuntu 12.10 and it works fine, my problem is that how to actually add roms/games to it. I went to *snip* and installed a ps2 iso file that was split into 2 files totalling 3GB~. So basically I am stuck at that point.

-Do I need a DVD/CD to mount the iso to it? or will gmount/furious be fine?
-the downloaded files i got arent even '.iso' it is '.7z.001' so do i need to extract it? or convert or compress? I really do not know.

So basically I have the PCSX2 program, and I supposedly downloaded a ROM but I have literally no clue what to do next i searced everywhere for hours.

Please help or even forward me to a well detailed guide since I am also a newbie with Linux/Ubuntu.

Thanks ahead of time.
