Not sure if asked...about that 60fps hack..
#1
I know there is a patch/cheat/hack for the kingdom hearts games to run at 60fps (true), but is there a general hack that can do this to more games than just kingdom hearts?

I saw a video of shadow of the colossus running at a higher frame rate (not 60 steady, but higher), so it got me wondering.

Are you talking about kh2 final mix ?

I would guess other games support it too, but finding the address to enable it is another story.

Sorta. Basically it was said that it should be possible in some games, depending on how they are set up internally. It was also said that likely the hack would be different for every game, that there likely couldn't be a general purpose hack.

That's a shame, it would be great if more games were to support this.

If it ever gets converted into a hack, that would be a huge step up from an emulator aspect.

Which video? Are you sure about that?

That's possible yes. I ran RE4 at 63~65 FPS to get a 'smoother' effect out of it. But it's essentially a fake 60 FPS, because you're basically just speeding the game up. And it still won't be as smooth as TRUE 60 FPS. Like you could pull off with KH games.
