Notice regarding Intel HD/HD 2xxx-4xxx IGP Users

Many of you are using the initial release drivers that intel provided to IHV(Integrated Hardware Vendor) and OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer)'s

Prior to June 2012, the Intel HD driver had a number of precision issues of which D3D9 AF corruption is the most notable.

This can rear its head in other manners as well, Shadows can appear distorted (or not at all), Colours may also be completely screwed.

The original Intel HD had issue with GSDX DirectX 10. But I have not use Intel HD for a long time. Is it fixed in these driver releases?

I wonder if this fix Lucid Virtu video stuttering *FFX-2* when using IGP mode in PCSX2... The first bug I encountered is using IGP mode then it will use discrete video card when running PCSX2 in Valkyrie Profile Silmeria wherein the game eats up all my 8GB ram after the last Intel HD update it was solved.. the only problem is that stuttering.. will test and feedback here thanks for the update Laugh

UPDATE:
it was fixed on this update.. thanks again for the info about the intel HD update.. finally I can use Virtu Lucid because of bug in power management of nvidia drivers in dual monitor Laugh

Sticky please. This affects sooo many people and CPU with IG GPUs that needs to be seriously stickied.
Was that actually fixed later? Also this link you provide will overide any version of the driver or will first check if it's newer before installation? If the update doesn't appera on our manufacturer's site is it safe to install it or we run the possibility for not being optimized for our system?
It needs more info to be accurate.

most oem's don't even bother modifying the driver, if they do, its a custom power profile.
