just a remark from my side regarding STR cpu's.
I'm currently building up a system from scratch and was looking for a cheap cpu solution.

The new intel core i3-9100f has a decent STR/price ratio (https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu...Hz&id=3479)

Just in case you plan to have a system only for emulation.

Have a nice day

well thanks a lot but if am to go for that CPU then I would be looking at getting a new motherboard, case and probably new DDR 4 ram
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core I5 4670 3.4GHz
RAM: 6GB
GPU: Radeon HD 7770 2GB

For the CPU, if you don't need a system right now and you can wait until July, on 7/7 AMD will release the new Ryzen 3000 (ZEN 2) CPUs, which will pretty much be better than what you can get from Intel on the same price and consume less power. There was recently a leak for the small Ryzen 3600 (which will be released for 200$) showing pretty impressive values: https://wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-5-3600-ze...rformance/

For sure wait for official benchamarks before deciding, but this way you could save some money & get a better CPU Smile
