Specs;
Q6600 @ 3.2GHz
4gb Ram
4890 Vapor-X 1gb
Using PCSX2 0.97 svn3636
GSdx-ssse3 r3623 - 8bit textures enabled (helped ALOT)
Can't seem to get the ingame frames much above 40, occasional parts run at the full 60fps but the majority is slow to hell. I've tried multiple combinations of the speedhacks with little success.
Anyone had this running smoothly? What settings/plugins did you use?
Cheers, Meth

Unofficial builds are not supported so if you want help use the latest official beta.

Sounds like a GPU limitation. Check if native resolution fixes it for you.

After about 1hr of sifting through previous threads on Odin Sphere I've found the solution. Use ZeroGS. Constant 60fps.... one of the few games that actually runs quicker on ZeroGS it seems.
So for anyone else wanting to play this original and fun game, ZeroGS is the answer ^_^

In GSdx, ticking "Allow 8-bit textures" in GSdx gives a very nice speed boost for GrimGrimoire and since it seems like the same uh...2D graphics, it would probably help here too. Worth a try anyway =P
