So, I feel like my 33% warning level (because of the implication that I made the mistake of admitting to not spending hundreds to thousands of dollars on Japanese PS2s just to get the BIOs. If you wish to do so, please bring that level to 100% and ban me for my heinous message) means I'm less likely to get help, but here it goes...

I turned mipmapping off because I only want to load 1 version of a texture, but now I have to deal with a message saying that my decision will break some games (I chiefly play NHL video games), and I wish to turn it off. Is there a way to do so?

I attempted to do so. But it was a North American PS2, and I didn’t really have the stuff needed to get the BIOs.

So if it shall be, please ban me for not spending hundreds or thousands of dollars just trying to get the ones I need.

No worries, I still own the games because I have a PS3 that can play them.

you can alternatively use Play !

it doesn't require a bios to emulate games

Sweet! Problem is, texture dumping and replacement isn't supported, which is part of why I made the thread in the first place.

And thus, the reason for the warning completely overshadowed what this was originally about.
