I've been working on this problem for a few hours to no avail. The problem is simple, yet complex.
My SixAxis controller shows up fine and responds to everything outside pcsx2 as it should. I'm running it through bluetooth by the way. I've checked properties and calibrated the controller with my Debian-based OS, as well as using it with other programs.
When I go into my 1.4.0-0 copy of PCSX2 and go to buttonmap the controller it's recognized, but is limited to the following:
8 buttons, 6 axes, and 0 hats.
WHICH MEANS! The entire controller can't be utilized. My other wireless third-party controller has zero problems being mapped.
The PS3 controller has 17 buttons, 6 axes and 2 hats.
(Back in the day I used to write my own drivers and I honestly don't want to do that yet.)
As far as posting system specs, they don't mean anything in this case; when they're relevant to a problem I'm having I'll share them.
