Only getting black screen when trying to start game!
#1
Hello friends! I've been trying to play Soul Calibur III recently. Or actually for 1 week. I feel like I've been trying everything. Hopefully there's a solution.
First off I got Sapphire 6970 2gb Video Card. 4 gigs of ram, AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor 3.4 ghz, running on a windows 7 Ultimate operative-system.
I'm using the 0.9.8 version of the pcsx2.
The game is running from an ISO file. And I'm using the following settings:
GSDx 4600 the sse2 one.
lilypad svn
SPU2-X-r4600m 1.4.0
Linuz Iso CDVD 0.9.0
USBNull driver 0.7.0
FWNull driver 0.7.0
DEV9null driver 0.5.0

What to do?

EDIT:
PS: I would like to remind you that I have searched the forums a bit, and followed sticky-guides.

PCSX2 Settings? Plugin Settings? And non-default settings used?

Reset back to default and try again. Smile

That's pretty weird, when you got this log did you stop emulation or pause it at any point?
My only thought would be that this weird bios file you have which is a devel build (haven't seen one before) doesn't work properly with PCSX2...try setting CDVD to no disc and running the bios only and see if that works. Also try running the game using System->Boot CDVD(fast) instead of full

OK, so use the internal ISO reader (not a plugin) to load your ISO and try using System->Boot CDVD(fast) as I said before
