It looks like it fixes the character but screws the background.

Sigh could I have a gsdump ?

When I get home from work, I will make some for you.

I got the old ones (now actually downloadable.. Blush ) from my OP for you: // - however, this was concerning the OpenGL HW-mode problems (which still consists with the now latest ReLive driver from AMD)

The ones for Shin Megami will be made, as said, when I get home.
@Gregory, do you want single frame or multiple frame dumps of the Shin Megami game? And additionally, in HW and SW modes?
Single sw only

I will make a few for you right now.
Had some troubles with my pc, so it took a while.

Windows 10 x64 Pro
AMD driver:     16.12.1
PCSX2 Version:  1.5.0.-dev-1686-g07d7905

Various dumps: (this one is acting funny, the screen freezes, but movement still works. In so far, that I can hear footsteps) (this one works, also when switching to dx11 hw from freezing dx9)

Settings used in HW (FXAA Enabled):                                                        Settings used in SW (FXAA Enabled):

It seems that in SW mode the layering of objects is totally fine right now. Or at least in the pcsx2 version I currently have. In Any HW mode however, as shown in other replies, it's still off.

In any HW mode, crc set to minimum through agressive:                                                                          In any HW mode, crc set to none:

                                                                                                                           (dump)                                                                    (dump)
Are these dumps going to be used or if they serve no purpose anymore, please tell me so I may remove them from the webspace I use to host the dumps.
I wanted only a dump of the depth issue of shin megami (for AMD issue, you need to wait an AMD driver that is bug free). The dump is independent of the option, so it is useless to generate with various options.

I need to compare the depth data generated, it will take me some time. Actually looking at your option
* openGL
* no custom resolution
* crc to minimum
* accurate date
