Opengl crashes
#1
Hey guys I'm new and I recently updated to the git version of PCSX2 and every time I use opengl it plays for a little bit then abruptly crashes for some reason. Other video plugins are fine but really want to use opengl.

I'm on windows 10 and my laptops specs are:
Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU at 2.80 Ghz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX1060 GDDR5 at 6.0 GB
1049 GB HD
16 GB Ram

Does it crash on a specific game, or every game you play?

Only thing I have on is Large Framebuffer and 5x Native and I tried at native before and it still crashes.

OK, what games specifically are you using? It's possible you could be running out of VRAM.

Here is a pic

I'm using Starwars Battlefront 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3

Please play the game until it crashes, and make sure PCSX2 is closed afterwards. Then find the emulog.txt file and post the contents here. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

Where did you get your Nvidia driver from? It is also quite a bit out of date, hopefully you didn't get it from windows update Tongue
Can you try getting the latest driver for your card from here: https://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers
