Hi guys, new to the forums and I've read most of the quick start guides. I was just wondering what would be the optimal configuration for my MacBook Pro:
CPU: Intel Core i7-2720QM @ 2.20GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6750M
Memory: 8GB
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
I'm using the latest version of PCSX2. I don't have any major issues, but I would think that my computer can handle most games at optimal performance, yet most of the games I have played have had slight hiccups. For example, when I play Kingdom Hearts, the beginning cutscene plays well at 60 FPS but the Audio tends to skip a lot. I've tried playing with the Audio settings for the plugin to no avail, but I just can't find the right settings. Kingdom Hearts isn't the only game where the audio skips, it's actually most of the games that I play (FFX, SMT: Nocturne, SMT: Persona 4). Anyone have any recommendations for me? Thanks in advance.
*Note: I'm playing them on ISO's
*Note 2: I just tried playing again and I'm noticing that the sound is not just hiccuping, it's the game as a whole. Although it's just for a second, it happens frequently and is quite annoying.
