My older PC

GPU: HD 7750
CPU: Intel G530 Celeron Duo
RAM: 8GB

Current PC spces:

GPU: R9 380
CPU: i5 2400s
RAM: 8GB

i was trying to play MGS 3...and i can play it fine. However when i use codec it goes to 50% of speed...speed boost will do nothing to improve.

I tried hardware ..it goes even slower...software DirectX works wonders...what does it need? I did get AMD is slow due to drivers...any help would be required?

AMD is only slower with OGL, due to bugs with their OpenGL drivers, but it's not a bad brand. MGS3 is overall one of the heavier games, also make sure that you haven't touched Tab and/or F4 (Frame Limiter).
