Oh there's one more bit of information I found out about my PC. It runs on an Intel® G41 Express Chipset with an approx. total memeory of 286 MB, so would this still mean a better GPU is needed?

TC you won't be doing any kind of PS emulation on that thing. The best you can possibly do is PS1 and below

or he will have to be back to 0.9.6 times since gsdx isn't compatible anymore with those ancient mobile GPU
