PC doesn't see PS3 controller

Hi guys,

I'd like to use my PS3 controller with motionjoy ...ect But MotionJoy, DS3 Tools, Better DS3 ... Don't see the PS3 controller.

When i was on Windows 7 it was ok, but recently it seems that Windows 10 doesn't see my PS3 controller anymore it's very weird, so i can't use my PS3 controller.

Seriously, why do old members keep recommending the old dead obsolete originals over the improved and maintained versions?

What have you done so far? Where did the instruction to install the ds3 stopped working?

If you refer to nobbs by using 'he' while saying 'he doesn't see my controller as a Xbox controller' then that is absolutely correct. Nobbs is possibly thousands of miles/km away from you. If you didn't refer to nobbs please be more precise who said what in which context. Possibly make screenshots. Just give us something to work with.

@willkuer, please refrain from correcting a minor grammar mistake. I'm sure you and I have both made our fair share of them in our time on here.


Anyways, I would try switching USB ports, then posting the log either here or in the xinput wrapper's thread. You could also try using the original xinput wrapper.

It's not a grammar error I am pointing here. I am by no means even remotely close to write proper English. (In my native language this wouldn't even be a grammar mistake.. So this was not annoying me at all.) It's the lack of information in this thread that annoys. Its really hard to help somebody if the only information you get is: it doesn't work.
