Well, My sytem can run Crysis at 1600x1200 at the max setting at 62fps(AMD II [email protected],16GB Ram,2 4870x2,and a 9800GTX+ for PhysicX).But play a PC game is not like emulation a PS2.I can't run DBZBT3 at 60fps+(56-68fps), but FFX is play at (normal CPU setting) at 80-153fps.So MGS3 is not emualtion perfect, you can try another game.

You can set an nvidia card to run as a dedicated physX processor, so it's possible.

It's kind of a waste to just use a 9800 as a physics processor though because that's only using like half the card's capabilites

It doesn't work when you're using ATI card's. I've seen people use 9800's as PhysX cards, but you can't while using ATI.

only with watercooling can you keep it at 3.9Ghz stable

I've decided to go with the E8500 and try and get it stable at 4.5GHZ on AIR like other have done instead of going for water cooling because if i do go that route i would rather spend a lot of cash and get the best i can afford. My next build will be water cooled.

With those speeds i hope to get some smoother running games going.

An e8500 stable at 4.5GHZ on air? Good luck.....

I'd say 4GHZ as I know people who have it at 4GHZ.

You shouldn't really need to go higher than 4GHZ anyway. If you have a game that's not running smooth on a 4GHZ dual-core, it ain't gonna run smooth until something changes with the emulator or plugins.
