PCSX incombatible.. Hardware or software?
#1
Hello. I am a big fan of this emulator. I've used it for a year now without problems. Suddenly it started to crash and I got this ([Send] [Don't send]) error. This is mainly when I pick linuzzappz dvd or pete plugin. I then formatted my HDD and I got the same error even then.. THEN I installed Vista on another partition and got the same error.. It's GOTTA be my hardware I'm thinking.

As for my RAM, I know they are abit bugged. My ram works but they are halfway destroyed due to unknown reasons. They've been overheated and after that incident the shaders ingame are destroyed.

So that PCSX2 crashes might have something to do with my hardware, or could it be something else? Smile

Intel Core 2 DUO E8800 (I think.. the 3ghz)
4G of ram PC6400 800MHz (unstable, but works)
asus mobo e-p5n-b or something.
win xp pro 32bit
vista 64bit

Are you serious? Huh
You know what's wrong so just get new RAM, it's dirt cheap right now Happy

Also check the ISO for corruption.

Thanks! But as I said, nothing is really corrupt except that. Cause as I said, I've had it perfectly running for a year Smile

Vectrum:
Run a tool like memtest or prime95 stresstest and see if the ram errors out.
If it does, then replace it as soon as possible ><
