PCSX slow... computer or settings?

hello buds,

i'm a new user here and i actually try to play dark cloud... it is really low and laggy sound is bad and cuts all the time... here are my PCs build ins...:

CPU: AMD E2-1800 APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics 1.70 GHz
GPU: AMD radeon HD 7340M
RAM: 4GB
and a 64 bits system running with windows 7 service pack 2

So could someone tell me if PCSX is suppose to run good or if i got a lack somewhere...? thanks all!

its definitely your processor, 1.7 Ghz is not enough to run this emulator

Overclock if you dare, not recommended since it's a laptop but I've heard some success story with AMD APU. Otherwise, get a better one.

I think the i3 dual core running atleast 3.1GHz would run it nicely..

I'm making sure and getting an i5 or an i7 quad because I'm aiming for system intensive ps2 games like FF X-2.. etc

In short get a upgrade if possible.You'll be amazed at what you can achieve with these new intel processors
