PCSX2 0.9.7 First Time Configuration Fail, HELP!

When I do the first time configuration on the new PCSX2 0.9.7 on my Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit PC, I can get to the second step (plugin configuration), but then I click next it FREEZES ON ME!
it makes a tiny window saying apply stuff or wateva, and then Windows says this program has stopped working and is trying to close it down!
it does close down but then I'm stuck with an endless loop of trying to do the First Time configuration thing, I need some help!!!
I just want to play my PS2 games, I wanna play the new Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 5 (PAL) on my computer WHICH I DID BUY (stupid lillegal B****es)
anyway, could you please help me?
