You can probably use the 0.9.8 version to play in hardware mode but, it still won't be fast enough. You should Play it on your desktop or ps2.

my ps2 is broken
 six moths ago i played really good with pcsx2 0.9.6.... why can't i play good with pcsx2 1.2.1 now? and, how can i play from the desktop?

You should probably use the 0.9.8 version as suggested before. Since, that's a little faster compared to the latest stable release.

i am trying with pcsx2 v0.9.6 and v1.0.0 but don't start the game. pcsx2 v0.9.8 strat slow as v1.2.1

The solution will be to get a better pc , you have to play in your ps2 till you can offer it. Sorry, your hardware is quite weak for pcsx2.
