PCSX2 1.4.0 Crashes every 15mins on all ISOs HELP!

I thought ahead and this issue happens on Directsound, portaudio and Waveout.  These crashes are nonexistant on pcsx 1.2.1 but due to these crashes pcsx 1.4.0 is unusable, and I can't for the life of me figure out why.  I have also tried numerous GPU, DVD, and Audio plugins and no dice on any of them.

On top of all ISO's crashing in around the 10-20 min mark, Evil Dead: Fistful of Boomstick, which runs fine on v1.2.1 insta-crashes when trying to load any level (New game and loading savegames) as soon as the progress bar hits 100%

Is there somewhere I can upload my DxDiag and MsInfo32 report Files to give a full appraisal of my machine, to help identify, and possibly sort out these problems?

Postimg.org (might be postimage.org) is fine. You can also attach them in a new reply here in the forum, just please make sure they're jpeg files Smile

Only if you download them from the internet instead of making them from your own discs. If they were completely illegal we wouldn't have an ISO reader Tongue

Can you please check memory usage of pcsx2? Most important directly before crashing. (maybe using taskmanager)

I tried the 1.5 test build and Evil Dead: Fistful of Boomstick did not crash loading a level.  I have not had time to do further testing, being swamped with University assessments but will test further when I get more time.

Unfortunately using the 1.5 build wiped the Codebreaker cheats I had to manually input into the .ELF file so all that has to be done again.  and when the ELF file said changes were detected and asked me to save it said the memory cards were full, so I'm worried I won't be able to add the codes for those games not in the original file.

to be honest, that is probably more likely the reason for your crashes.

I found the .ELF file easier for the cheats.  That manually converting Codebreaker codes to .PNACH files gave me such a migraine.

I wish there was an external cheat program, with a huge inbuilt list,  like PEC for PS1.
