PCSX2 1.6 Anticipation and Thanks Thread
#1
This is a thread for anticipation and thanks to the ridiculously long and hard path to 1.6's release. Many people are often time entitled and demanding. I'd like to take this opportunity to give a heartfelt thanks to everyone involved from in the programming and testing from linuzappz in the old days to every developer and tester who gives reports today. Please take the time to say your thank yous to the team who doesn't have to do it but does it anyway.

I really appreciate this app since my poor PS2 is in the cupboard since it died a few years ago. Having this to play all my old games is just great since I often revisit them.

Really looking forward to 1.6, thanks to the PCSX2 team for your hard work all these years!

On the PCSX2 Github page, under releases, it lists a 1.6.0 release candidate build that can be downloaded and compiled for beta testing purposes. If it's deemed bug free, that build will become the newest 1.6.0 stable release and will be made available publicly. I don't have the tools to compile it myself, but hopefully it works out well for those that do.

The release candidate is not really meant for public consumption, it's there for us as a resource.
