Hello everyone!
I just noticed something different, for some odd reason the cutscene at the start
doesnt have sound and really lags.

But after that, the game itself runs smoothly

any thoughts and ideas?
Specs: W7 Home Premium
Nvidia GTX 555m (3gb)
Intel i7-2630QM @ 2.00 ghz
8gb ram
PCSX2 version : 1.2.1

Disable effects processing
Use the de-alias filter
Enable debug options

Volume 100
Latency 150ms
Timestretch and
Surround 5.1
Unchecked Winamp DSP Plugin

Playing from iso that i ripped from my disk.
I uploaded my settings as attachment in pic format

The EE and VU hacks can case such problems...set the to the far left and do you have any reason mVU Flag Hack to be disabled?

This game is one of the easiest games to reach full speed so you don't need any other setting than the default.
Even on P4 2.8ghz 6600gt 1gb I had ~210fps at certain places

I didnt really adjust any of the settings the moment i installed PCSX2
It just started as it is.
The only thing i changed was the gamepad one for my Xbox controller
So Ill change the EE and VU hacks to the far left right?

First please turn on mVU hack as vsub suggested if you didn't turn it off on purpose.


Maybe it switches to software mode for the first cutscene... With your rig that might cause problems. What happens if you put the synchronization mode of spu2-x to async mix?

Tried, sadly the part from when it shows "Dolby Digital"
till the opening cutscene still has no sound and lags
gameplay is still fine either way

Can you try to press F9 while it lags?
