KayRyou: Can you confirm if d3dx_36 is your problem?

RFFRDDM: I'm really not sure why your install is not working. If you can confirm the following are all correct:

- Wineskin Wrapper V .2.6.1
- Wine Engine V 1.7.52
- d3dx9_36 and vcrun2013 installed
- New build of PCSX2 installed
- Wine pointing to the new build
- Bios in the new PCSX2 folder (What version are you running? Have you tried other bios?)
- GSDX plugin set to DirectX9  (Software is more compatible, try this first, move to hardware later. OpenGL does not work at all).
- PAD plugin: Lilypad
- SPU2 plugin: Portaudio selected
- All other plugins: set to null
- Test with No disc (under the CDVD tab, then Boot).

If you have double-checked and confirmed all the above and it's still failing, I'm out of ideas. This is what is needed to run, and I've tried from scratch several times and it works fine.

FYI, I'm on a Macbook Air with Intel HD6000 and a 2.2 Ghz i7.

*edit* I'm going to try to skip some of these steps to see if I can replicate your error and narrow it down.

I'm going to do a fresh install, I've double-checked everything.

By looking at your system, you shouldn't need to worry too much about updating Wineskin, it should work on Yosemite. It's only El Capitan that had issues before. (fixed with the 2.6.1 update).

You also shouldn't worry about your hardware either, it will work fine on an iGPU (Though if you had an i7 it would run better, as you can add extra threads).

I've tried again from scratch skipping the install command for vcrun2013, and (to my surprise) it worked without it. So that's probably not the issue either.

Can you check ~/.cache/wineskin to see if d3dx9_36 and vcrun2013 were downloaded correctly? (I know it shouldn't be the cause of your issue, I'd just like to see if the command script worked).

Let us know your Bios version.

When testing, use Direct3d9 (Software) since it's more compatible. After you get things working you can change to hardware and scale up.

Also try testing just booting into the system bios rather than a game (in case it's the ISO's fault). I noticed you are trying to run Shadow of the Colossus. Great game, but even if you get it running it will probably only run at 25% speed. You'd be better off choosing a less taxing game. I always test FFX.

I Follwed all the steps and everything works fine except that the spu2 isnt recognized by pcsx2. I downloaded multiple versions of that plugin to no avail. I also tried moving the spu2 into a seperate folder to see if it would be recognized by itself but it did not work. Literally everything works up until this point except the spu2 plugin. (obviously i havent been able to load a game without the plugins)

Please show the full emulog after you tried to select a spu plugin. There should be several log messages about plugins displayed in the log.
