But the other versions i use are really slow and laggy,when i tried it on this one it wasnt laggy i just couldnt see anything

Yeah well... if it doesn't have to render anything on screen it's gonna be faster than when it has to, it's just logical...
That version isn't supported anymore, use the beta or the stable... your problem however seems to be that your computer just isn't fast enough.
