i have the same problem
i have this pc
amd athlon 64 x2 dual 4200 (2.2 ghz)
2gb of mem
gforce 8600 gt 256mb
windows xp sp2
directx 9.0c last version

and use this plugins
zerogs 0.97.1
spu2null 0.7.1
Gigaherz cdvd 0.7

Change spu2null with any other spu2 plugin,it can cause crashes

I am also having intermittant crashes now using windows 7 RC x64, it didn't happen on 32 bit. It will load the game (any FF I have) and crash about 30 seconds into the intro. At times it has no issues though. strange but true. I have not been able to find out what causes the crash yet, I will give feedback soon as I have an idea though.

would it be by chance, pcsx2 crashing using Dx10 on any gsdx plugin later than 1194?

i dont use por a better fps, but im going to try it. so what plugin i use for the sound ??

you could use SPU2-x, ZeroSPU or Peops (SPU2-x has better compatibility )

ok, now i can play longer but in my console windows (the one whit dos) apear this in RED

pd: whit the sound on work better i will try whit other plugin to see what happen

yes, i think thas that is a bug because only happen in a specific time
