PCSX2 Crashes as it loads a game.
#1
Hi,

My new gaming laptop arrived a few days ago, with a geforce1050.

Did all as instructed...load the bios file, controller, selected adapter, dx11, and then when I try and run  / boot the ISO it all crashes.

any log file or anything I can scavenge for more info?

I'm on win10, HP Omen.  It runs the best N64 games perfectly smooth.

For nvidia card use OpenGL instead
The log is in either the logs folder in pcsx2 directory or in documents\pcsx2\logs

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
[code]
Pasted emulog goes here
[ /code]

Maybe its your iso...try using the PS2 game disc if you have a DVD drive
And also try to reset the settings and reconfigure PCSX2 that works with your GPU
