PCSX2; FFXII IZJS issue

Just started using PCSX2 the other day, had to toy with the settings a lot but finally got it running well on my system. Anyway I got the IZJS version of FFXII and FFX to try out on it, and both were working great.

In XII I got to the point where Penelo joins you the first time in the Giza Plains, and once I stepped out of the village into the desert, every time I press UP on the controller I have mapped, it asks me to select a party leader. It was working fine in the village, but once I step through that gate it suddenly becomes an issue.

I thought maybe I made a mistake while mapping the controls to the wired 360 controller I have, but they're correct. I even tried the same setup for FFX and that game works fine. Anyone know a way to fix this?

Maybe you're using some old version of the IZJS english patch which had some stop bugs...latest is v0.22

Maybe. I got the ISO from emuparadise and it talked about the english patch but I just wanted to check the game out first. Its all in english and it even has the dub, which I wasn't expecting. I just rolled with it, lol.
