Pirating ISOs is not illegal unless you do not or have not ever owned a copy of the software that you want or you or someone else is making money from your download however ads to support hosting the website cannot be considered as making a profit.

No, I think YOU are the stupid one. No matter how you justify it, downloading an ISO which did not original from YOUR copy of the game is still taking somebody elses copy, thus illegal. Do you think if you get caught the authorities would look at it this way? Could you go in to a shop, open a copy of a game you bought say, a few days ago, make an iso of it and none of the staff would mind? No, you wouldn't get away with it would you.
