PCSX2 Help

So I just recently got myself a laptop. It's specs are bad but when I tried PCSX2 and KH2FM+, everything ran at a smooth 60 FPS. Two days later, everything got screwed up. Now, PCSX2 can only run at 30 FPS. Is there anyway that you guys can assist me?

i7-3537U at 2.5 GHz
8 GB RAM
Intel HD 4000 Graphics.

In the same game? Or a different game? Different games will play differently. KH series seem to be generally considered "light weights".

Even the same game in certain areas may be harder to emulate than others.

First step, post your emulog.txt from the /logs/ folder here.

Second what are your EE/GS/VU percentages at the top of the gameplay window during the slowdown?

Third what (if any) speed hacks/changed settings are you using that aren't default?

Make sure your laptop's power management is set to high performance, but watch out for heat as it will also cause throttling.

Same game. The tutorial always runs at 30 fps and everything after that was the same.
