PCSX2 SaveState Preview Tool
#1
Lightbulb
I searched everywhere a tool for PCSX2 like this because its very annoying to not know which Save State i currently chose (only in window mode, you can see which Save state has been chosen), because of that i decided to make one and to share this little tool.

I just started programming few Weeks ago and i am new at this  so if any Bug occurs (bear with it Biggrin Laugh), just write a post and i will Try to Solve it.

What it does?
=> Its just a simple Tool that shows the Current Save State in any Position you will set.
=> It Reads the Last Line from the Log File emuLog.txt
=> Any Key is supported, like Play/Stop/Next/Previous/Mute Except Macros like buttons from Logitech G1 - G12.<== ADDED

How does it Work?
=> First Chose the Main Path from Pcsx2 also the pcsx2.exe
=> PCSX2 must be started to show Preview.<== ADDED
=> Preview Window is Movable.<== ADDED
=> Timer: Just enter in seconds.<== ADDED
=> Position will be automatically saved.<== ADDED
=> Background and Font color is now selectable.<== ADDED
=> Show/Hide Preview = One Hotkey<== ADDED
=> Press Home Key to change the Size like any window.<== ADDED

It would be nice to hear feedbacks Laugh

this tool is written with Autoit and is tested only in x64

What is crashing,pcsx2 or the converter...I can't think of a reason why any of them will crash while using the save state preview feature

The Pcsx2 will crash, well me neither.

Pcsx2 may crash while creating save states even without using my tool...that why the "Backup before save" option in pcsx2 was added.
It's not because of my tool, the converter does not interrupt pcsx2 in any way,not a single hotkey is blocked\delayed

Splendid!

I think these options/features are useful.

1. To specify display time of the message including infinity.
2. Toggle to show and hide the message when the Space key is pressed.
3. To specify a place where the message is shown not only at the top left.

Here is just my image of the options/features. My English is not good, ignore/rewrite about it. Smile

Code:
+-----------------------------------------------+
Options                                     X
+-----------------------------------------------+
Display time:

   [   3 ] second(s) (0 : infinity)

Place to show:

   X [   0 ]  Y [   0 ]

Thanks! I sometimes run pcsx2 and some cheating tools and look at walkthrough websites like GameFAQs, therefore I often lose track of a current number of sstates. This tool is useful for such a situation.

Also, I've noticed a few things.
1. If I type the Space key in my editor while running this tool, this tool responds the Space key and the message is disappear.
2. If I type the Enter key on an icon of the desktop while entering "Set Position" mode, the icon is launched.

Anyway, this tool is useful for me. Smile
