PCSX2: What kind of performance is expected on these specs?
#1
I have an old NUC from 2013 that is currently running retropie all the way through gamecube. I've installed PCSX2 and it's running, but the games are laggy, some more than others. I would love to play God of War but its way too laggy so I would need to try to speed it up with speed hacks or some custom configuration.

I wanted to see if anyone could let me know if it was worth attempting to speed up the performance at all given the specs on my computer? See below:

Ubuntu 18.04
Ram: 4 gb
Processor: Intel Core I5-3427U CPU @ 1.80GHZ x 4
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 (IVB GT2)
Gnome: 3.28.2
Os: 64bit

well, your cpu's STR is below 1400, we do recommend at least 1600 as a bare minimum.
your GPU is terrible too.

The best you can do is keeping playing your games on your real PS2
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go
