I've updated my 21:9 code for Warriors Orochi 2 (NTSC-U) (SLUS-21803). The old ratio was slightly off. I've also managed to find the memory address for the games view distance. In the 2 gifs below you can see all the changes.

Guys, just tried Headhunter (NTSC-U) WS-patch. Does it have to be that way?

It's just a side effect of the widescreen patch. Some things can't be corrected. In this instance, the game is supposed to be running in 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9. That's why you have protruding geometry in the 1st image.
