PCSX2 - Widescreen Game Patches

That works, but it's a poor man's solution since it also zooms in on the overworld, during dungeons and battles, instead of just cutscenes only. It also causes a glitch where if you defeat an enemy in a dungeon, the camera zooms in further after the battle, and keeps doing so after each fight. :/

So I was looking more into the issue, and I found out what's wrong.

Loading the patch from the "cheats" folder causes a freeze, but if I load it from "cheats_ws", it fixes it. However, if you also enable "Enable Cheats", it will cause a freeze.

The patch doesn't like "Enabled Cheats" for some weird reason.
Talk about strange!

So from now on, all P3 cheats must be combined with the widescreen patch.

Weird, I was using the patch through cheats and I had no problems. Well, I'm glad you resolved the issue.

Having some issues porting Sly 2. The widescreen value and the characters portraits fix works, but the "widescreen bug fix" causes a freeze. I suspect some of the values (not addresses) of the widescreen bug fix are wrong, but I'm not sure what. I'll send you both .elf files so please check it out.

The return jump in my routine needs to be recalculated.

This should fix the freeze:

Also change the 0C030000 to 08030000 in both. That was a mistake on my part.

WIP PATCHES

Yo um, sorry a bit late here.

So I'm just wondering why the widescreen patch for the highlighted game is not available inside the archive. Is it deleted on purpose or the patch need improvement or something?
I'm pretty sure the file is not in the archive.
I looked up on both cheats_ws folder and the NTSC J folder, no Gundam Seed Destiny RvZ 2.

It's on requests which means "can someone make a patch for this game?" so there was never a patch made.
