Run "ElfSearchTool" and open the file "SLPM_656.31" in the dvddisc of SilentHill2 [SLPM65631].
Copy-paste the search and replace hex codes from the attached text into the same area of "ElfSearchTool".
Press the "Search" button at the bottom of "ElfSearchTool" and the pnach code will be generated automatically.
The reason for this tedious procedure is that I do not have a copy of "Silent Hill 2 Saigo no Uta (v1.5)", which is very rare.

Some other guy already asked here in 2020, amongst other games,
but he got ignored, that's how i found this thread.
This is really a gem of a game and not that much people know about it, this is definitely one of my favorites on PS2.
Would LOVE a widescreen patch. Someone made a patch for the PC version and it looks gorgeous, but i'd much rather play the PS2 version.

I just checked the game with ps2dis and the widescreen codes from ps2wide.net and noticed that a couple of the addresses in the patch didn't match.
Amazing bro!! The only thing missing is spider-man 2 patch, hahaha you know it's very strange that being such a popular game it still doesn't have its patch ported to its other regions.
