Today I made a PNACH file with widescreen patches for the UK release of FFX SCES-50490, and since the ELF files for some other PAL releases are nearly identical, this PNACH also works for those games, if you just rename the file to use the proper CRC code. I haven't checked all PAL releases, but I do know that it works for the UK, FR and IT releases, with disc IDs of SCES-50490, SCES-50491 and SCES-50493 respectively.
As named here it is ready for use with the UK release: A39517AB.pnach (Size: 5,75 KB / Downloads: 713) This patch file contains several aspect ratio modes, as follows: Original mode (Just there for completion) Corrected 4:3 (Since FFX doesn't originally use full 4:3) 16:10 with normal vertical visibility (This is the default, active without edit) 16:9 with normal vertical visibility 16:10 with 40% increased visibility both horizontally and vertically 16:9 with 40% increased visibility both horizontally and vertically Each of these modes is implemented as a set of 7 patch codes, and you can switch modes simply by editing the file to 'comment' out the previously active mode, and activate the one you want by removing the "//" prefix from its 7 patch lines. However, if you do this editing while an emulation is paused and then resume, you won't see the effect of the change until you pass from one game area to another. NB: As with all known FFX widescreen patches they have no effect in very tight quarters, such as tiny huts or the entrance to the arena. In such areas the game doesn't use the normal scaling routines, so our patches to those can't affect the display there. Best regards: dlanor

Thanks dlanor for pnach FFX, with CRC of FR version, finally i play in 16/9.

I notice there are widescreen patches for the japanese version of Xenosaga 3 for japan, what about the USA version?
