What is your CPU, check the plugin directory and remove AVX2 optimized GSdx plugin.

I have no AVX plugin. How do I check my cpu?

having the wrong plugin will cause a core dump?!

PCSX2 will try to load the shared object (.so) and check the compatibility. However in the process, it will trigger the global constructor/destructor of the shared object. If these global elements contains unsupported instruction (such as AVX2 on old CPU), it will fire an illegal instruction exception.

In recent version, we try to avoid global object as much as possible to avoid this issue, but I don't know which version OP use, neither how it was compiled.

The GSdx plugin I have is "libGSdx-1.0.0.so"

Also, I did not compile this build. I just did "dnf install pcsx2".

your proc is going to seriously struggle with pcsx2, even if you do get it to run the program...
The stp on your processor is under 600, and the current "common wisdom" is that you need 1600 to play a lot of games, 1800 to play most, and we haven't found the score that will let you play everything..

I had the feeling someone was going to come out and criticize my hardware. I don't care if it doesn't run well. Also, I'm still relatively new to linux and didn't know that "Common Knowledge" about the "stp" stuff, so don't be a smartass.
