PCSX2 black screen problem

So I got PCSX2 today as well as a BIOS and an Iso for Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga 1&2.

Unfortunately, I have been searching the internet incessantly trying to figure out why when I try to play the Iso I get a black screen.

I apologize, I know this is probably a very frequent question, but I am at my wits end trying to figure out what is wrong and I have made it my quest to get this to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Jesalvein, I am having an issue with Digital Devil Saga 1. It can play fine for almost the entire game; the whole problem is that we can watch one cutscene, but then when the final boss is supposed to start, it's just a black screen and freezes up. There is no music or sounds, and it runs in the good old box (no widescreen). Can you please help me?
