I've been playing on pcsx2 for months, but today it started crashing, with or without disc.

Google results are pretty all over the place for this one. One thing that popped up frequently was a fundamental issue in the OS. Scan your PC for malware and then run sfc /scannow to ensure all OS files are in good shape.

When you say crashing...Are you getting the "pcsx2 has stopped working" message or some other error?

Also on a side note, don't install pcsx2 in the "Programs" section on your c: drive. In fact, I always recommend the binaries or SVN version. But that's just me. Smile
OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit (occasional Antergos/Arch user)

I'm gonna Scan and clean my pc just to be sure.

I only get the "pcsx2 has stopped working" and that's it.

Well, I downloaded the last revision of pcsx2, and it seems to be working just fine. I think the problem is solved (?)
