PCSX2 crashes after booting ISO
#1
Hello guys,

I recently installed PCSX2 as a way to be able to play my old PS2 games. The setup went fine, the only thing I added was padPokopom.dll so I could use my PS4 controller in games, but whenever I try to load any ISO (only have 2 games that I've ripped from my own discs) PCSX2 crashed even if I select Boot CDVD (full/fast). Any help?

Pc specs:
CPU: i5 6600k overclocked to 4.2ghz, disabling overclock did nothing.
Ram: 16gb DDR4 Corsair
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce
PSU: Corsair RM650x
Storage: 250gb Samsung 840 Pro SSD, 1tb WD Blue HDD

You should download the latest git build here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/index.php

If they still don't work after that, try reading directly from the disk; you may find that your ISOs weren't ripped properly.

Thanks for the reply. Sadly there is no way for me to read from the disc because my PC doesn't have a disc reader. I will try the git build and get back to you.

Then you downloaded the game illegally. Please come back once you can rip your own games and you have deleted the illegal version. I won't give you a warning this time due to your situation, but please be aware we do not tolerate piracy on this forum
