PCSX2 crashes when clicking "add game directory"
#1
Hello, I installed PCSX2 and I could not add any games to the directory. When first installing the program I had to bypass the add game directory during install because it kept freezing the program and "not responding". I managed to fully install the program and bypassing that part of the install and get to the main menu but the problem still persists. I can drag and drop games into the program and play them but I cannot use the add game directory.

"Scan New Games" button does nothing either. I then ran the program as administrator and it did not help. I also tried using compatibility mode and it again did not help. I also did a clean reinstall and yet the problem persists. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have a program that modifies your explorer? Like OldNewExplorer? if you do, you need to disable it before adding a directory
Windows 11 64 bit OS
Intel Core i7-10700
Geforce RTX 2060 6GB
32 GB DDR4 RAM

I use a program called "Everything" which allows me to search for every file on my computer. I use Librewolf as my browser and that is what was used to download PCSX2.

My main graphics card is my Nvidia 1650. I checked device manager, looked under display adapters and all that showed up was my Nvidia card which is up to date. Am I not looking in the right place?
