PCSX2 crashing every time I start Silent hill 2

Hey everyone, I'm trying to play SH2 on pcsx2 but whenever I try to run the game, the whole program crashes. The program starts up fine but when I click on the game from the list, the program just closes without any error message.

Bear in mind, I used to be able to play the same game from PCSX2 a while ago on the same laptop.

Idk what's wrong.

how can I do that?

right click your game in the gamelist->properties
then the "verify" button
