PCSX2 crashing in Win7 64bit when opening Dev9
#1
I'm new to the PCSX2 emulator and have been trying to use it for 3 days but it always crashes when it tries to open the Dev9 plugin on a Lenovo W510 with Win 7 64 bit.

Is there a way to disable the Dev9 or try a different version ?

The PCSX2 version in 0.9.8.

Dev9 crashes the emulator because it is not configured.

Ddid you install winpcap? As that's needed for the dev9 plugin to load.

If you don't have a use for ethernet or HDD in PCSX2, then use the dev9 null plugin.

I'm having this same issue. I have the latest version, and I have WinPcap or whatever installed. Also whenever I go to configure the plugin, it has no listed ethernet devices, and will not let me save the changes unless I pick one. I'm not sure what to do. I have already started a new thread, so please don't tell me to do that. No one who is experienced in this plugin replies to that thread. This one is already open, and I'm assuming the issue has been resolved, so I'm posting here.
