I am using fedora 18. But I am not able to install Pcsx2 completly. What to do please explain
---> Package pcsx2.i686 0:1.1.0-1.fc18 will be installed --> Processing Dependency: libCg.so for package: pcsx2-1.1.0-1.fc18.i686 --> Processing Dependency: libCgGL.so for package: pcsx2-1.1.0-1.fc18.i686 --> Finished Dependency Resolution Error: Package: pcsx2-1.1.0-1.fc18.i686 (/pcsx2-1.1.0-1.fc18.i686) Requires: libCgGL.so Error: Package: pcsx2-1.1.0-1.fc18.i686 (/pcsx2-1.1.0-1.fc18.i686) Requires: libCg.so You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Are you able to get libcg and libcggl as standalone libs from your package manager? PCSX2 greatly needs these dependencies installed.
OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit (occasional Antergos/Arch user)
(I am no longer a Windows user) CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti

Hm. Doesn't seem right...
Have you got the rpmfusion repository enabled? What is the output from Code: sudo yum install Cg libCg
edit: ok I needed xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs-319.32-7.fc19.i686
Now I've got problems with the sound crackling/distorting and graphical glitches running Ridge Racer V GSOpenGL software mode. I have portaudio installed which seems to be the only option. I can't get a game to load using Fedora 19 64bits. I've installed pretty much every library I've found associated with compiling pcsx2. Code: $ gdb pcsx2

you need to install a 32 bits gpu driver!

SW renderer is slow so sound is bad. Sound will be nicer if you reach 60fps. Try the hardware rendering (you might get more visual glitches)

Try the hardware rendering (you might get more visual glitches) hardware mode is even worse. I'm able to run it flawlessly under windows with 3 core software mode with full sound and graphics. I have an i5 3570k/gtx 680

1/ run in full mode (Boot CDVD full)
2/ are you sure the nvidia driver is properly installed on the 32bits side. glxinfo give only the status of 64 bits. Otherwise, yes the linux version is still slower than Windows. |
